Lead Integrations Engineer

Full-time. Remote within the US. Title is flexible based on experience at the Senior, Lead, or Principal level.

About Ours Privacy:

Ours Privacy is building the future of marketing infrastructure for healthcare.

Our full-stack privacy solution is built specifically for healthcare marketers navigating today’s complex regulatory environment. We offer both a healthcare-focused customer data platform (CDP) and consent management platform (CMP) in one integrated solution, empowering healthcare organizations to track, analyze and optimize their campaigns while remaining compliant with HIPAA and state privacy laws.

The BAA-backed platform sits between digital properties and every tag, pixel, or API, letting you decide exactly which fields stay in-house and which de-identified signals reach Google Ads, Meta, StackAdapt, GA4, etc. With Ours Privacy, you have full control over any user or event attribute, auto-respect consent banners, and still deliver the conversion feedback ad platforms need to optimize.

Ours Privacy is trusted by many of the largest digital health companies, health systems, and medical brands across the country. We are one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in the country and as demand accelerates, we are expanding our team, product and reach as we become the standard for privacy-safe marketing in healthcare.

The Role: Lead Integrations Engineer

We’re looking for an integration expert to own how Ours Privacy connects with the wider ecosystem. You’ll review and improve existing integrations, lead new connectors end-to-end, and build advanced monitoring to catch both external schema changes and internal anomalies before they impact customers. Beyond integrations, you’ll jump in where needed across our TypeScript/Node services and React app to ship high-impact work.

What you’ll do

  • Lead new integration development.

  • Own partner relationships for key platforms, manage change notices, and coordinate versioned upgrades.

  • Audit and harden existing connectors for correctness, performance, and fault tolerance.

  • Design proactive monitoring and alerting for third-party API schema changes, rate limits, auth expirations, and payload drift.

  • Build anomaly detection for internal data flows, latency, retries, DLQs, and backpressure.

  • Establish SLAs, playbooks, and runbooks; improve observability with metrics, structured logs, and traces.

  • Collaborate with product and customers to validate requirements and deliver outcomes.

  • Contribute across the stack as needed: React frontend or AWS/Node.js/TypeScript backend.

Our environment

  • AWS-first with serverless and containerized patterns where they fit.

  • Common services: AWS Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, Fargate, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3.

  • TypeScript / Node.js across services and integrations. React on the admin application. Several web SDKs and open source packages for developer integrations.

What we’re looking for

  • This is a hands-on engineering role: you will write code daily, design and implement integrations and services, review PRs, and operate what you ship.

  • Fluency with OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, idempotency, and resilient retry/backoff patterns.

  • Deep, hands-on experience building and operating large-scale integrations across many external APIs.

  • Strong TypeScript skills.

  • Solid engineering fundamentals: testing strategy, observability, incident response, and reliable distributed systems.

  • Clear, concise communication and a bias for action.

Nice to have

  • AWS experience building resilient, cost-aware data and event pipelines.

  • React experience and an eye for pragmatic, accessible UI.

  • Background in healthcare, privacy, or other regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools.

Why you’ll love working with Ours Privacy:

  • We’re at the forefront of privacy-focused marketing and offer a unique, fast-paced opportunity to shape the future of the industry

  • We are a growing, remote-first team that values flexibility, output, and impact

  • You’ll have the opportunity to work with an innovative product in a rapidly expanding space

  • We operate with a deep commitment to privacy and helping marketers thrive while respecting user data

  • You’ll play a pivotal role in our company’s growth and success, shaping the product, client experience, and overall strategy

  • Benefits include: Competitive pay (base + commission), 15 days PTO, equity in the company, 401k and health insurance
