About the Role

The Integrations Engineer is a specialized technical role sitting at the intersection of customer delivery and integration engineering. You own the full lifecycle of integrations across our customer base, from scoping and implementation through ongoing maintenance and documentation, and getting integrations live for customers.

You sit between customers, integration partners, and our engineering team, and you drive each integration from kickoff to live and working. That means scoping the work, coordinating partners and clients to get what's needed, unblocking the technical pieces, and making sure it launches and keeps working. Once an integration is live, you stay close to the customers using it, helping them get the most out of it.

This is not a software engineering role, but it requires real technical depth: you can read API docs, build webhook-based connections, debug data flow issues, and write JavaScript when needed. It's equally a project management role. You keep multiple integrations moving at once, across our team and external partners' teams, and you keep each one on schedule.

This role reports to the Head of Customer Success and works closely with customers, technical success engineers, and software engineers.

What You'll Do

  • Drive integrations from scoping through go-live, keeping timelines, owners, and next steps clear

  • Work with integration partners, including ad platforms, EHR and CRM platforms, to align on requirements and move projects forward

  • Implement integrations via webhooks or our API using existing Ours Privacy endpoints and ingest patterns; use JavaScript where needed to support custom, client-specific event tracking and route it into Ours Privacy

  • Troubleshoot integration issues, from payload inspection to root cause

  • Support customers on live integrations, resolving issues and helping them get the most out of their integrations

  • Turn customer and partner requirements into clear specs for engineering

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product to surface integration patterns, opportunities to improve the platform, and client feedback in a structured, actionable way

  • Keep integration documentation accurate and up to date

  • Work with integration partners to drive awareness, adoption and co-marketing

Who You Are

  • Hands-on with the technical details: you read API docs, configure webhooks, and debug data flow issues with confidence, no software engineering background required

  • Prior experience in technical success, solutions engineering, implementation, or technical project management

  • A strong project manager who can run several projects at once and keep partners and clients aligned on timelines

  • A clear written and verbal communicator

  • Resourceful and proactive: you spot problems early and fix them without being asked

  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, or event pipelines preferred

  • Healthcare data experience (EHR systems, HIPAA-aware data handling) a plus

Ideal Technical Background

  • REST API fundamentals: OAuth 2.0, API key auth, pagination, rate limiting, error handling

  • Webhook architectures and event-based data flows

  • JavaScript: enough to write custom tracking logic, manipulate data layers, and debug event pipelines

  • Postman or equivalent for API testing and payload inspection

  • JSON and API documentation fluency

  • Strong plus: EMR/EHR/PMS integrations

  • Bonus: TypeScript/Node.js

  • Bonus: Ad platform APIs or server-side tracking (Meta CAPI, Google Ads API, GA4 Measurement Protocol)
