About the role:

We’re looking for a senior engineer with deep API integration experience to own the delivery of new outbound integrations for OURS Privacy, our healthcare-focused CDP. You’ll be our first dedicated integrations hire — building, testing, and documenting new connectors that power how our customers sync data into CRMs, marketing platforms, DSPs, and more.

This is a hands-on, self-directed role. You’ll be given a prioritized board of integrations, choose which to tackle first, and take them from spec → working prototype → production-ready connector.

What You’ll Do

  • Build outbound integrations with platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, ADAPT forms, DSPs, and other SaaS APIs.

  • Translate external API docs into working code — mapping fields, handling auth flows, and aligning with our existing integration framework.

  • Write unit tests and perform manual verification to ensure integrations work reliably before handing them off.

  • Collaborate with support/success teams to hand off new integrations and occasionally join calls to validate/debug.

  • Author documentation:

  • Self-manage a backlog of integrations — prioritize easier wins, identify blockers, and keep projects moving.

  • Stack: TypeScript / Node.js / AWS

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6+ years of experience building and maintaining API integrations in production systems.

  • Strong TypeScript + Node.js skills.

  • Proven ability to quickly understand third-party API docs and translate them into robust implementations.

  • Familiarity with common auth flows (OAuth2, API keys, tokens).

  • Experience writing unit tests and validating integrations end-to-end.

  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing your own board of projects.

  • Excellent written communication for producing internal + customer-facing documentation.

  • Based in the U.S., available to work part-time as a contractor (with interest in potential full-time conversion).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM, marketing, and/or DSP integrations.

  • Familiarity with AWS serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).

  • Comfort jumping on occasional customer calls to validate/debug integrations.
